History

In 1952, St.Teresa’s Nursery was started in one of the rooms in the convent boarding building.   Sr. Clottled was the first headmistress & Sr.Bernedine was the Manager. In, 1969 class room was conducted in the hall without partition. In 1970, two story building constructed in the choolakal compound. The school was shifted from the hall to the new building with Sr.Corola as the H.M. There were 6 classrooms with 65 students and the hall for the play school.

In 1980, Sr.Assumpta was the H.M and 6 classrooms divided in to 12 classrooms with 300 students and the teachers where 12 and the helping hands were 3.

In 1992, Sr.Cicilia was H.M. In 1995 to 1999 Sr.Cefrina and  2002 to 2003 Sr.Juliet appointed as H.M.  In 2004, Sr.Seena appointed as H.M & Sr.Emlyn was the superior. During her time, The roofing for the front portion was done for the better facilities.

In 2007, Sr.Smitha, 2008 Sr. Edward Marie,  2010 Sr.Smitha appointed as H.M. In 2010, Sr.sunanda appointed as H.M & Sr.Cyra was the manager. During her time, the renovation of the flooring and the wall was done. In 2011, LCD TV fixed in each classroom and the modern facilities were added. That time,the strength of the school was 450 with 18 staff.

In 2013, Sr.Smitha took charge as Headmistress and Superior. During her time, Open stage has done. In 2016 Sr.Rose Margret took charge as Headmistress and superior. In 2017, Sr.Liset took charge & at that time Sr.Dhanya was the manager. In 2018, Sr.Jasmine appointed as H.M & Sr.Maggie was the Manager. In 2019-22, Sr.Tessa took charge as H.M, during her time, hall was renovated and all the classrooms converted into smart class room & constructed waste disposal. At that time, Sr.Jose Maria was the Superior. In the year 2022, Sr.Sunanada took charge as H.M & Sr.Rose Margret is the Superior.
